Creator of the BALU lamp, a project awarded by Elisava University, currently available for purchase at the Design Museum of Barcelona, on digital platforms such as Lacapell x DHub Barcelona, and at the "El Principal de Córsega" art gallery. Balu was born from the idea of merging emerging technology and sustainability in the lighting industry, using the 3D Knitting technique. Inspired by principles of circular economy, the project aims to reduce material waste and promote production efficiency. By leveraging recyclable yarns and advanced technologies like Kniterate, the lamps are designed to be customizable, functional, and aesthetically appealing. The design process, from research to prototyping, focuses on enhancing durability, reducing costs, and minimizing environmental impact, offering an innovative and efficient solution to the market.
